In an effort to make loan costs more transparent to homebuyers, the Department of Housing and Urban Development has released a new Good Faith Estimate, effective January 1, 2010.  Included in the GFE (Good Faith Estimate) is a loan-shopping chart.  We encourage all homebuyers to use it so that they can find the lowest-cost loan.
